CityU GE 1320 City University of Hong Kong
GE1320 - Engineering Your Health Ethically and socially responsible actions in health care will also be valued.

This course will introduce the health and wellness issues with the aim to improve the quality of life for people in Hong Kong, the region and beyond. Course content includes living systems, personal health and health care delivery in relation to basic concepts and tools of science and engineering as best suited to students’ individual interests and career goals. Examples will be used to illustrate

how basic concepts and tools of science and engineering can be brought to bear in understanding, mimicking and utilizing biological processes. Through the course, students will attend various group projects that allow them to interact with medical doctors and patients, and gain exposure to visits of health and therapeutic agencies. The course is suitable for students with all majors.
