From a double major in biology and chemistry to a career in forensic science, teaching, and service, Stephanie Hughes has embraced every turn with faith, flexibility, and passion. “We don’t always know what life has in store for us. But I believe God uses every chapter for good. I may not have taken the most traditional route, but I’ve gained so much experience and insight along the way. And I get to share all of that with the next generation.”

Several of our HSU Honors Alumni and former faculty members associated with HSU's Honors Program gathered a few weekends ago to honor and celebrate Dr. Tom Copeland as he moves into retirement at the end of the Spring semester following 30 years at HSU.
