Last Sunday the Hardin-Simmons University Theatre Department hosted our End of Year Masquerade Banquet! We had such a great year and an equally as amazing banquet! We are so proud of all of our students who received awards, who were involved in a show, and we are also so proud of our graduating seniors! Here are some highlights from the banquet that really show just how much of a family this department is! We are so looking forward to next year and all of the years to come!

We had an incredible year here at the Hardin-Simmons University Theatre Department. We were able to perform six different shows throughout the course of this year and we have loved each and every one of them! We are so excited for the next year of shows but before we finish the year and announce the 2024-2025 season we would like to recap our 2023-2024 season of shows. 🎭

Last night, four of our theatre students were honored at the Cynthia Ann Parker College of Liberal Arts Recognition Banquet. We are so proud of them! 🎭

Last Friday, the Hardin-Simmons University Theatre Department hosted around 75 5th grade students from Hawley. Current HSU Theatre students led workshops for the kids dedicated to dance, costume and makeup design, and acting. We had a great time working with these enthusiastic students and we are so grateful that we have opportunities to interact with our community like this! A big thank you to the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council for helping fund this activity for kids in our community!
