Some of the students from the weld program visited the Oregon Logging Conference today. Here’s some snapshots from their day!

This conference is an exciting opportunity for students to see what equipment they’ll potentially be building or repairing in their future careers. With a broad display of equipment this is an excellent learning experience for those who attended.

Here’s an inside perspective of what our shop looks like during class hours. Lots of students showcasing skill and talent completing projects, or just putting in practice hours.

If you’d like to visit our shops to take a look around, or are interested in welding, please come on by! Shops are open from 8:00 am-10:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Our excellent faculty members would be more than happy to show you around, or tell you what you wanna know.

We will have a booth set up in the LBCC courtyard the next couple of days. If you can't catch us there, you can message us and we can coordinate pickup :)

We are setting up for tonight's "Explore LB" Preview Night.
Come down to the Albany campus and check out our Welding Department.

We will have Virtual Welders available. Come down and try virtual "welding" without the usual safety concerns.

Shop tours are available. We have a newly remodeled facility, with a ton of new, up-to-date equipment.

We will also have hats and student created Metal-Art Projects for sale.

If that isn't enough to get you here, swing by our fabrication shop in the Industrial C building, and grab a free 'Bead Runner" sticker and candy.

We now have Heavy Duty Christmas Tree Stands available. All hand made by our welding students. These stands will hold a tree with a diameter up to 6". They come in Green and Red color combinations. Or, you can suggest a Custom Color. Cost is $50 each, but current sale price is $35.
