The UAlbany Confucius Institute is a partnership between UAlbany and China'a Southwest University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Its name is the UA-SWUFE Confucius Institute for China's Culture and the Economy. It has three main purposes: (1) provide opportunities to local high school students to study the Chinese language; (2) inform the Capital District business c

ommunity to economic conditions in China; and (3) foster academic exchanges between UAlbany and SWUFE.
