This week's Intern Spotlight is Business Administration student, Hannah Herrera! Current senior, Hannah, interned as a Brand Ambassador for Death Wish Coffee Company! Hannah tied in knowledge from her marketing concentration by managing social media engagement, keeping the tone of the company when responding to comments, and marketing for events such as S**C shows (pictured). Congrats to Hannah on her success and look out for our other Interns this Fall! ☕☠️

GRADUATE OPEN HOUSE - OCT 13TH - 5:30PM
Come learn about the exciting opportunities Sage has to offer you at our Graduate Open House. This event will give you the opportunity to interact with current students and faculty from all of our graduate schools (The Esteves School of Education and School of Management, School of Health Sciences, and School of Arts & Sciences).
Take a look at what a Principles of Management class looks like with Dr. Brownell! Students play the clap game to work on focus and communication. And when the group needs to be hyped up, students get in their middle to give a little pep talk! Afterwards, students pair up for Walk-and-Talk to discuss "Managers' Roles and Responsibilities". What a way to get class rolling!

Students in Professor Xu’s SP22 Consumer Behavior class designed and conducted their own blind taste tests! What a fun way to teach students about data collection to help brands know if their products are distinguishable among competitors!

Welcome! This is an exciting time to be at The Sage Colleges and in the School of Management. I am extremely proud of the education we deliver, not only in Albany, Troy and now via Russell Sage Online, but in the community where our students work and thrive in an ever changing environment. Our faculty and students are making a positive change wherever possible— through education, in the world of business, and throughout the world at large.
Here at the School of Management, we strive to teach an innovative curriculum built on personal development, teamwork, and experiential learning with an emphasis on social responsibility. Our students are provided with real world experiences and opportunities to not only change their lives, but the lives of those around them as well. All of our Undergraduates are required to complete an intensive internship and in our Graduate programs, students must complete a capstone project, a culmination of practices learned throughout their time as a student.
Our School of Management faculty are seasoned practitioners and experts in their field, allowing for them to be able to draw upon that experience to not only teach theory but real world application of concepts as well. Our faculty have worked for both public and private organizations in the areas of healthcare, state government, and emerging technologies.
Here at Sage, we offer unique programs at the Graduate and Undergraduate level that provide a key foundation to help further skills to secure your first job or to advance your career. We believe that a sound foundation in the core areas of business and entrepreneurship, provided by devoted faculty, will lead students in the right direction both in their career and in life.
I invite you to visit us on our Albany Campus or call for more information. In the meantime, please explore our website to learn more about our academic programs. We hope that you will feel the School of Management is a good fit for you and that you join us in working towards creating a more innovative world.
