"Despite what outsiders think, teaching is not a static profession. Every year is different: different students, different you, different world, different initiatives. That's something I love about the role, but something that is also challenging. Amidst all these changes, good and bad, CDWP has been my anchor. The events keep me connected to people who share my values, share my passion, and who are also just lovely and wonderful. CDWP reminds me what is possible, what is good for students, and who I want to be as an educator. I'm grateful for this site and the opportunities it's provided me for growth. I can't wait to see what will come next!" ~Nancy Czachor, Capital District Writing Project
