Our undergraduate alum Naishaly Vélez Galán was crowned the 76th Tulip Queen May 11 at Albany's annual Tulip Festival. Naishaly is a survivor advocate in the Office of Health Promotion. Naishaly and their court will deliver educational programs for Albany's youth over the year, focusing on health and well-being through the Tulip Queen Literacy Program. Naishaly also aims to organize programs for survivors of power-based personal violence. Congratulations, Naishaly!
