Welcome!

The Omega Chapter of TKE is more than just a house on Albion's campus. We are the Fraternity for Life − a family that includes over 1,200 living collegiate and alumni members. We are committed to exemplifying our values of Love, Charity and Esteem on campus at Albion and around the world. The “flagship” of TKE's Great Lakes Province, Omega celebrated 90 years of continuous operation in January 2017, and was recognized as a Top TKE Chapter by the international fraternity in 2018 and 2019.

As thinking, inclusive student leaders, Tau Kappa Epsilon welcomes young men from all walks of life. The Fraternity has never excluded prospective members from our brotherhood based on race, religion, or social class; such discrimination is antithetical to our values. Our Declaration of Principles, ritual ceremonies and traditions speak directly to this point: TKE regards men not for their wealth, rank, or honor, but for personal worth and character. Among the many benefits available to students who join the chapter are scholarships funded entirely by donations from alumni and friends. This includes an endowed scholarship created by the late William C. Prout, Jr. (Ω575, ‘59) and one honoring the ninth president of Albion College, Dr. John L. Seaton (Ω210). Donations to the Omega Chapter scholarship fund are tax-deductible and can be made online through the TKE Foundation. The fraternity provides many educational, leadership, and service opportunities to its members. At the local level, this takes the form of responsibilites given to officers and committes ranging from organizing intramural sports to planning service events to managing a six-figure annual budget. The International fraternity also offers a range of developmental programs and events designed to build better men for a better world. We welcome you − student, alumnus, family, or friend − to learn more about us and visit our home at 1004 E. Porter Street in Albion.
