A message from the family:
Berna was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer on July 23rd and she started her fight on August 16th with chemotherapy. Nearly five months later, she completed chemo and is now preparing for surgery on February 27th. Following the recovery from surgery, Berna will start radiation, and then have another surgery. It’s been an uphill climb, but it’s nothing she can’t fight through, especially with the support of her family and friends!

All of our students take an Administration and Supervision course from Dr. Rose Vallejo, who has nearly two decades of experience as a case manager, rehab director, and clinic owner.

This year's second-year students presented PT clinic business plans yesterday. They presented some amazing plans for clinics and shared some really innovative ideas. The future is bright for physical therapy in New Mexico!

Thank you to the over 32 donors who helped us reach the goal of raising $50,000 by the 50th Anniversary of the program. WE DID IT! The official amount posted is $57,346.03. This will guarentee that the scholarship will award the winning student at least a $2500.00 scholarship given at the end of their education journey.

We would love to continue to grow this scholarship. Please consider this worthwhile donation in your end of the year giving. The more we raise, the more we can support growing our workforce in New Mexico.
