9/16 is Trail of Tears Commemoration Day (to honor the Indigenous peoples who suffered during forced relocation), & Mexican Independence Day (to celebrate the history of Mexico after Spanish colonial rule). UNM is one of the largest hispanic & indigenous serving institutions in the US & we recognize the importance of both days to celebrate the many cultures that make NM so special.

Hey! Today is the last day to drop a course if you're not feeling it. Fees and paperwork to register for a NEW class are required at this time ($10) but it goes up to $75 after 9/6! Obviously, we hope you love your classes but if your semester plans have changed, make sure to drop by 5p MST!

We hosted our first back to school UG open house 8/29, it was so fun to meet students interested in politics and studying Political Science. We asked students why they study POLS, and the my fav answer was: "To DOMINATE the Thanksgiving conversation". Our undergrad Open House is Thursday 8/29 from 4-6p, in the Social Sciences Building, 2nd floor.
