🎉Fall Commencement is tomorrow and we're celebrating our second graduate, Brian Tussing! Brian finished his Associates of Applied Science in Agribusiness in the Summer and continued this semester to earn his Business Management degree as well. Brian just landed an Operations Support position with Redline Equipment in Archbold. Congratulations Brian!👨‍🎓

👨‍🎓Fall Commencement is Monday night and we're celebrating Gavyn Kupfersmith who is graduating with his Associates of Applied Science in Agribusiness. Gavyn is an alumnus of Holgate FFA and helped coach football, basketball, and baseball at his home school during his time at NSCC. He is currently a salesman at Ag-Pro in Gibsonburg and plans to continue on there after graduation! Congratulations Gavyn!

On Tuesday, Agronomy Principles learners heard from StoneX Group Inc. risk management consultants (grain brokers) Bailey Elchinger, Kendra Dauer, and Lucy Pullins Green who joined us via Zoom! 🌽🌾It was great to hear about their career paths and learn a little about what happens to grain after farmers haul it to the elevator.

Last week Survey of Animal Agriculture learners discussed animal behavior and livestock handling. We watched a few clips from "Temple Grandin" (2010) starring Claire Danes. Temple Grandin is a legend known for her cattle chute designs, changing standard practice in the livestock industry.
