Marymount Student Government

Marymount Student Government Working to serve marymount students The Student Government consists of three branches, The Executive, Legislative and Judicial.

The purpose of the Student Government Association is to be the official representative of the student body; to provide a balanced forum for communication between students, faculty, and administration; to advance student opinions and concerns through legislative action; and to ensure a fair and representative judicial process. The Legislative branch is referred to as the Senate, made up of of 20 Se

nators who produce legislation on behalf of the student body to improve and represent student life and sentiment at marymount. The Executive branch consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, tasked with various critical functions of government administration. The Judicial branch is maintained by three Justices (one of whom is chief) who sit on a Constitutional court and produce verdicts on constitutional litigation.
