Mark serves as an associate consultant and instructor for QMII. Mark brings to QMII over 27 years of experience in the maritime industry, with experience spanning service as a Captain to managing complex operations ashore in the upstream Oil and Gas Sector.
In the various leadership roles held by Mark, he has led and managed integrated quality, environmental, safety, security and risk management programs to drive improvement in a constantly changing environment. He played a pivotal role in developing the SMS for one organization, has led the SMS as a DPA as well as developed and led integrated audit programs. Mark has set up new business operations in international locations and been involved in ensuring business continuity within the positions he held. Mark is a trained auditor in ISO 9001, ISM, ISPS, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
