-Dean’s Leadership Council Holds Spring Meeting-
The Harrison College of Pharmacy welcomed the Dean's Advisory Council to campus this week for a spring meeting. On Thursday, April 10, the council received updates from Dean Leigh Ann Ross about the strategic plan, the current state of the College and the pharmacy profession landscape. That afternoon, leaders from the College, including Dr. Kimberly Braxton-Lloyd, Dr. Karen Marlowe, Dr. Timothy Moore and Dr. Dan Surrey discussed the implementation of the College’s strategic plan. Later that afternoon, Kori Caldwell gave a fundraising update, followed by a closing session with Dean Ross. Council Members took part in a dinner and awards ceremony Thursday night, and reconvened Friday, April 11 for a morning discussion about the student experience at the Harrison College of Pharmacy. This was a great opportunity for Council members and students alike, as they were able to take part in one-on-one discussions, where they discussed many aspects of the HCOP experience. It was exciting watching Council members and students directly discussing a number of topics and ideas! The spring meeting wrapped up late Friday morning with Dean Ross’ final thoughts, as well as observations from Council members. We’re so glad that our engaged students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni and friends take part in these meetings to help chart the future direction of the College. War Eagle!
