When Jessica Bowers' father was diagnosed with a rare condition that left him unable to hold his head up, she turned to the Auburn Family. What happened next was a selfless act of compassion and ingenuity — led by students who had nothing to gain but everything to give.

With no promise of credit or compensation, a team of engineering and exercise science students took on the challenge of designing a custom brace to improve Larry Green’s quality of life. The result? A story that could only happen here.
