“Hello and War Eagle! My name is Camryn W***y and I am a sophomore from Orlando, Florida!! This year, I have the privilege of serving as Vice President of Campus Relations for the Gamma Rho chapter!! In my role, I act as the delegate between Zeta Tau Alpha and the other 17 wonderful chapters that make up Auburn Panhellenic! It has been such an honor to represent a group of amazing women that have given so much to my college experience!! The friendships I have made in ZTA and the Panhellenic community are so special and I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of them!!”

“Hi yall!! My name is Maya Mekyten and I am a sophomore from Atlanta, GA!! I have the absolute pleasure of serving as this year’s Vice President Harm Reduction! In this role, I get to work alongside the most amazing team to plan and bring our events to life, all while helping ensure our chapter stays safe and supported. It’s such a joy to play a part in creating lifelong memories for our entire chapter. These past two years of serving on executive council have blessed me with some of the greatest friendships, and I could not be more grateful for this opportunity. I’m beyond excited for what we have in store and to continue pouring into a chapter that has truly given me so much.”

In honor of Big Man on Campus tonight supporting Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, this week’s is featuring 🩷🩷🩷

“In April of my senior year of high school, my mom was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma, a hormone receptor positive breast cancer. With less than 4 months until I would have to move away from home, I was distraught. But from the moment I walked into Zeta during Philanthropy round of recruitment, I was reassured that God’s timing is always right. Not only did the girls and environment make me feel right at home, I deeply connected with our philanthropy. Each member I met comforted and educated me through stories, facts, and events related to Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Now that I am a member, I truly feel that I am part of something bigger than myself. I am forever grateful to be part of an organization that strives to make a difference. After making a full recovery, my mom stands as my role model and biggest cheerleader. It is one of my favorite privileges that I get to honor her battle through Zeta’s philanthropy service, events, fundraising, and education.
