As we wrap up the semester, here’s a friendly reminder that OASIS will be closed tomorrow, December 20th.

Have a wonderful winter break and we look forward to welcoming you all back in January! Here’s some info to keep in mind for the upcoming days.

Building Hours during Winter Curtailment:
- MLK Jr. Student Union
- Friday, 12/20: 7 AM - 8 PM
- Saturday, 12/21: 8 AM - 5 PM
- Sunday 12/22 to Sunday 1/12/2025: Closed
- Reopens Monday 1/13/2025, Open 8 AM - 5 PM
- Resume normal hours on Tuesday, 1/21/2025 (after the MLK Jr Holiday)

- Friday, 12/20 to Sunday, 1/26/2025 (Closed for HVAC Maintenance).

The ASUC and OASIS wants to invite RSO leaders to our “RSO Affairs Town Hall” next Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 6:00 pm -7:30 pm in the ASUC Senate Chambers on the 5th floor of Eshleman Hall. Applications are now open for the Berkeley Student Leadership Academy (BSLA)! Visit the Berkeley Student Leadership Academy website (link below) for more information and to register. They are also hosting virtual Information Sessions to learn more about the program!

The Berkeley Student Leadership Academy is a series of engaging workshops and customized experiences that help undergraduate students develop leadership competencies. Registered participants will receive information about Berkeley Student Leadership Academy workshop series, specialized content, and access to mentorship and networking opportunities.

Happy Calapalooza, Berkeley Bears! 🎉🐻 Keep an eye out for blue hearts 💙 today. Orgs with blue heart signs have open membership and accept anyone who’s interested! And remember, Calapalooza has moved to Memorial Glade! Stop by from 2-6pm.

RSOs, if you have been registered as an open membership org and have a blue heart next to your name on CalLink, then you will receive a blue heart sign upon check-in at the southwest corner of Memorial Glade. Remember to check in between 1-2:15pm! See you there 😁🙌

🚨 IMPORTANT CALAPALOOZA UPDATE! 🚨 We’ve made some changes to Calapalooza! Student group tabling will now take place on Memorial Glade, and we will no longer host student group performances. 🌟 Check-in for student group participants starts at 1 PM under the canopy on the Glade, and groups have until 2:15 PM to secure their spot.

The Blue Heart Initiative is a ✨NEW✨ feature on CalLink identifying registered student organizations that are classified as open membership.

Students: Look for this blue heart as you explore organizations to join! These organizations may require a form to record demonstrated interest, but there is no formal application to be accepted into the organization.

RSO Leaders: If you self-report that your RSO 'accepts all' interested members in the registration process you will be presented with the opportunity to opt-into this feature. Should you opt-in, a blue heart [] will be placed next to your RSO's name on CalLink once your registration form is processed. Submit your registration forms early if you want to take advantage of this marker during Fall recruitment!

Come check out Calapalooza, one of the biggest student org tabling events on campus. At this event, you will be able to meet students from a variety of different clubs and see what communities Berkeley has to offer. There will also be exciting performances by students to kick off the semester!
