Four reasons University of California, Berkeley early-stage founders should join UC Berkeley Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET) Summer Venture Lab. Mark Searle and team will make you work smarter and faster.

1. Speed is a Competitive Advantage 🚀
Unlike established companies, startups don’t have the luxury of time. Rapid decision-making and ex*****on allow startups to seize opportunities.

2. Uncertainty Requires Fast Iteration 🔄
Startups operate in uncharted territory—they often don’t know if their product, business model, or strategy will work. The best way to find out? Make decisions, execute, measure results, and adjust.

3. Limited Resources Mean No Room for Waste ⏳💰
Early-stage startups have tight budgets and small teams. Poor decision-making or slow ex*****on wastes time and money.

4. Ex*****on Turns Ideas into Reality 🛠
A brilliant idea is worthless without flawless ex*****on. Many startups fail not because of bad ideas, but because they couldn’t execute properly.

“We’ve been a part of a lot of Berkeley’s startup ecosystem,” Kumar said. “I honestly think if I hadn’t gone to Berkeley, none of this would have happened.”
