ments the University’s educational mission. The department provides full-service police protection to the campus community. The Department of Public Safety is a fully independent law enforcement agency, reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Operations, and is responsible for law enforcement, criminal investigations, emergencies and campus awareness education.

Need an elective? Thursday evenings PSO Paul Simon is running 2 RAD classes one during the 1st half of spring semester and the other the second half of spring semester. Class is coded as PEDU B101 01A for first half and PEDU B101 01B. Class description is Physical Education RAD self-defense. It is slated to be held on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm. Welcome Back Sandsharks! Do not forget to register for your parking decal. Faculty/Staff and Commuter Students can pick up their decal at DPS offices at HHI, Beaufort, and Bluffton. Residential Students can pick theirs up at the Hosing Office. There is no charge for these decals!

Faculty and Staff of USCB should request a parking decal in order to safely park at all USCB campuses. Click on the following links to be directed to an online form for the decal request.

The USCB Department of Public Safety held their Annual Awards banquet last night to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our employees over the last year and to have a chance to take a few minutes during this busy season to get the entire DPS family together. Officer of the Year Award was awarded to Cpl. Jacob Haughom and the Non-Sworn Employee of the year was Public Safety Officer Paul Simon. Congratulations.

Parking decal requests are live. To park on campus, you must have a parking decal. See the link to register for your pass, there is not a cost for a parking pass. Once you register you can pick up your pass in the housing office if you are a residential student. If you are a commuter student or a new faculty or staff member you can pick your pass up in the Hargray Building Lobby.

USCB now has Rave Guardian. Rave guardian is your personal safety application while on USCB. Need to contact us open the app and call us. Need to send a chat to Public Safety you can do that through the app. Want a virtual es**rt walking across campus you can do that through the app. Regular es**rts are also available. Download the app from the Apple App store or through the app store on android platforms. Make sure you select USCB, your screen when you open the application looks like the one below. If you are having issues, please stop by the public safety office so we can assist you.

The parking pass request link is now active for this upcoming academic year. Registration for a parking decal is free. Vehicles that are parked on USCB campuses are required to have a decal. Decals may be picked up beginning August 15th. See the below link to register and learn on where you can pick your decal up.
