The topic this year is Seismic Tremors and Toxics. Dr. Luke Hanst from Portland State University will be speaking about chemical releases in Portland, Oregon in a Cascadia earthquake. Dr. Michael K. Lindell will be speaking about issues with shelter in place and hazardous materials. Leah Wood and Masha Cole Tasageva, who work with EPA Technical Assistance Centers, will cover grants and technical support to area nonprofits.
