Our annual Peace Breakfast, held on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, commemorates the life and legacy of Dr. King while honoring members of the Oregon State community who carry his message and work forward in the present. It's followed by another Oregon State tradition, the Peace March, which provides an opportunity to join in solidarity with community members and reflect on Dr. King's legacy of creating transformative change through non-violence.

R/V Taani
A name is more than just a name. Learn more about the meaning behind the R/V Taani, one of the new Regional Class Research Vessels. This groundbreaking effort funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) is building three state-of-the-art research vessels to define the future of oceangoing science. R/V Taani will be operated by OSU and based in Newport on the Oregon Coast.
