Coach Roosevelt Byers brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping athletes develop to his coaching. Having coached at every level from high school to collegiate, he has over 20 years of expertise and has the abilities to take players to new heights on and off the court. When the school was first founded, he was appointed head coach of the Bucket Universities Bucks.

Byers guided Eagle Academy High School to 12 conference championships and seven New York State championships in 20 years. He has guided the squad to three conference titles and one NCAA title while he has been at Bucknell University.

Bucket University Bucks sign JUCO transfer Tae Buckets !!!
The Bucket University athletic department is excited to announce the signing of a promising talent to the roster, a 5 foot 8 inch point guard from PG county, Maryland has officially committed to join the Bucket University.
"Tae is a prolific player and we are excited to have him join our team," said Roosevelt Byers, Bucket's College Men's Basketball Head Coach. "His leadership and great vision on the court paired with his crazy work ethic and passion for the game, will send this program to a another level."
Tae was a constant threat on the court. He averaged 17 points, averaged 5 rebounds, 9 assists, 0.5 block, and 1 steal per game. On top of his athletic achievements, he was on the Deans List and had a 3.5 GPA.

Come on, Bucks! The Bucks are eager for this season to be even better!
We had an 18-4 record the previous season and won the DVC championship. At 18.5 points per game, Omari Stephen led the club. James Hayes and Tae Buckets, two recent additions, will provide the team more depth and relieve Omari of some of the scoring pressure.
Dave Davidson hopes to break records once more this season. He broke the single-game 3-point record against Excellence College last season by making nine three-pointers in a single game.
The Knights' goal for this season is to win their third consecutive DVC and NCAA titles. James Hayes, Tae Bucket, and Christopher Lewis are transfers that give us additional offensive and defensive depth.

A nonprofit organization called the Delaware Valley Conference (DVC) was founded to support the development of universities in and around the state of Delaware. Through long-term capacity investments, it is the means by which supporters, alumni, fans, and corporate America may work with the Conference and its member universities to enhance and maintain our athletic programs.
The goal of the DVC Foundation is to increase financing for the Conference in order to provide our member schools, coaches, and student-athletes with the resources necessary to compete at the Division 3 level and to offer outstanding student-athlete experiences. The primary objective is to invest in long-term, reasonably priced infrastructure for the Conference and the organizations it represents.

Bucket University is located in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Bucket University was founded in 1996 and has 2500 students currently enrolled. Bucket University is now in the Delaware Valley Conference. Bucket University provides a diverse student body with people from different backgrounds. Through athletics, we promote student curiosity, academic success, and a positive school climate. The goal is to instill the values of teamwork, pride, respect, dedication, a strong work ethic, sportsmanship, and the development of a winning mindset. We want to recognize the advantages of early sports as a way to help young boys and girls grow up to be strong, moral people.
