Troy University Trustee, Mobile attorney Forrest Latta, will present the 2024 Woodham Lecture entitled “Dothan’s Rich Camellia History” later this month!

Place: Harrison Room, Malone Hall, Troy University Dothan Campus

This presentation is free and open to the public. Pizza will be served.
This event is hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences, Troy University Dothan Campus. The camellia japonica is Alabama’s state flower. You will enjoy the story of “Camellia Fever” which swept Dothan in the exuberance following World War II.

As you walk around campus today, stop by our flags and spend a minute remembering the Patriots that lost their lives on 9/11/01 🇺🇸

Our flags are at half-staff on 9/11 now Patriot Day as we remember the toughness and resolve of the United States of America.

We remember the four commercial aircraft that flew into the Pentagon, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, and a field in Pennsylvania.

Thank you to everyone who shares the real stories of what happened and how we learned from it.
