Thank you to everyone who has supported the Patriot Pantry over the past few weeks by contributing non-perishable food and personal hygiene items! πŸ’šπŸ’›

CHSS faculty and staff contributed 40 grocery bags of personal hygiene items, and Wegmans donated an additional 50 bags of food!

At an estimated average of 16 pounds per bag, 1,440 pounds of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products made their way to the Patriot Pantry to support students during winter break while the university is closed.

As they studied in the same Horizon Hall spot all throughout the semester, Dean Ardis quickly befriended the group of students she would see upon leaving the office every day.

With the students' finals drawing near, Dean Ardis made her grandmother's molasses crinkle cookies to deliver and asked what made the group's study spot in Horizon Hall special to them.

Moderated by Associate Professor of History and Art History Gabrielle Tayac (Piscataway), these roundtable events invited students and the wider Mason community to a dynamic discussion with numerous panelists.
