Some of our Class of ‘26 students volunteered this past Monday at the United Way Genesee County MLK Jr. Day of service event. They were able to help pack 200,000 meals that will be distributed to food pantries and assist people living in Genesee county that are in need of food. What a beautiful way to go out and help within the community💙 〽️

“As a graduate student in a Physician Assistant (PA) program at UM-Flint, I had the privilege of volunteering as a judge for HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), an organization that prepares high school students for careers in healthcare. HOSA provides students with valuable opportunities to develop skills, explore healthcare professions, and engage in competitive events. It was truly inspiring to witness the creativity and passion these students brought to the competition. Being able to foster encouragement and support their pursuit of careers in the medical field was an incredibly rewarding experience. Seeing the next generation of healthcare professionals already so dedicated and driven reassured me of the bright future ahead.”
