A special spotlight from one of our panelists tomorrow‼️‼️

Hey Kettering! My name is Alexa Grifka and I am a Manufacturing Engineer at General Motors. I graduated from Kettering in 2021 with my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and am a current graduate student at Kettering pursuing both a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and an MBA.
I started my career as a co-op in 2017 at General Motors and have rotated through many different assignments throughout the years with one of my projects even being nominated as a finalist for this year’s Manufacturing Leadership Council (MLC) Awards! I am currently a Zone Engineer stationed at Factory Zero where I spend my days designing and coordinating the installation of various equipment within our body shop. I have also taken on additional projects at work leading a team to research and implement alternatives to reduce our carbon emissions through landfill contributions as well as being part of a team that helps engage new hires. I look forward to visiting you all and am excited to share my experiences!
