Schola Cantorum was honored to be featured performers in the 2024 TIC Choral Festival on Monday evening. Professor Melissa Phillips offered her skills on the piano for the final combined piece. While we were thankful for the opportunity to sing, we were even more blessed to watch Waldorf Music Alumni, Brennan Laugen and Aaron Mathahs, shine in their role as teachers! Warrior Proud 💜

🎶✨ Get ready to celebrate the season with music and Norwegian traditions! Join us for Norwegian coffee an hour before Waldorf's annual Gift of Music Concerts—Saturday, November 23 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 at 2 p.m.—in the Boman Fine Arts Center Mezzanine. Enjoy traditional Norwegian pastries from Three Rivers Kringla, free with the purchase of your concert ticket!

The concerts, themed Celebrations, will feature performances by the Waldorf Wind Symphony, Choir, and Schola Cantorum Chamber Choir. Concert tickets are only $5 and are available online at https://bomanfineartscenter.org/events or at the door. 🎶 Don’t miss this special holiday event!

Congratulations to all who participated in All-State auditions this weekend! There is great joy, disappointment, and most of all, growth! May we always remember that some of the most meaningful singing happens away from the audience and adjudicator, within our own circle. Waldorf Choir was blessed to be offered a few moments alone in the beautiful Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church in West Bend. We invite you to enjoy a few minutes of imperfect beauty to help you relax and reset for the week ahead 💜.

Fall 2024 tour photos! We are so thankful for the time shared with First Lutheran Milford, St. Mark Lutheran Sioux City, Alton Presbyterian, West-Bend Mallard HS Choir, and Algona HS Choir. The hospitality and camaraderie was incredible! Stories were shared, memories made, music created, and connections reinvigorated. We can’t wait for the next time!

We had an amazing time at the 2024 All-State Workshop yesterday! The halls were brimming with over 200 young musicians working to improve their craft! I was able to grab photos of the vocal workshop, but was not able to get to the instrumental side. If you have pictures from the day, please share in the comments! Good luck to all students auditioning. You have learned so much! We are proud of you!!
