Ryan Flickinger, Waldorf University class of 2002 and 2006, and former WU associate athletic director, head baseball coach, director of international recruiting, and associate director of admission and athletic recruiting, will give his keynote address in the Atrium at 3pm! Ryan was recently named head athletic director at NIACC in Mason City, and will be sharing how Waldorf guided him in getting to where he is today.

Waldorf University is seeking nominations for the Alumni Distinguished Service Award and the Recent Alumni Award for service. These honors recognize Waldorf alumni who have performed distinctive and meritorious service in areas such as public affairs, education, church, business, and government. Do you know someone who has had an interesting life and who might not fit one of these boxes? Send us a nomination for consideration for special recognition.

Individuals selected for either of these prestigious awards will be honored in a ceremony during Homecoming 2024 on Thursday, October 3 at the Boman Fine Arts Center. Please fill out a nomination form, return by email to [email protected] or mail it to the Waldorf Alumni Office at 106 S 6th St, Forest City, IA 50436.

Thank you to Jim Willmore ‘89, Lynda “Georgee” Tysver ‘90, and the Fireside Lounge Bar & Restaurant in West St. Paul for hosting our Waldorf University Meetup this past weekend! It was great to have so many familiar faces come out to reconnect with us. Our next Waldorf Meetup will be at Confluence Brewing Company in Des Moines on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4:30-7:30pm. Be sure to mark it on your calendar - any and all alums and friends of Waldorf are welcome to join us! 💜
