Scholarship for AMU Students from Aligarh Alumni Association, Washington, DC

Dear Students,

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

I am pleased to inform you about the upcoming scholarship opportunity offered by the Aligarh Alumni Association, Washington DC.

This scholarship aims to recognize academic excellence and provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate both merit and a need for financial support.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Currently enrolled in Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India for the

Academic Year 2024-25.

· Strong academic record.

· Demonstrable financial need.

· Active involvement in extracurricular activities and community

service.



Scholarship Details:

· Application Deadline: Sunday, November 15, 2024



Application Process:

1. Complete the online application form, which will be available on our

official website: https://aligarhscholarships.us

2. Attach the required documents, including:

i. Latest academic results/marksheets.

ii. Proof of financial need (income certificate, tax documents, etc.).

iii. Letter of recommendation from a faculty member.

iv. Brief one-page essay highlighting your achievements, aspirations, and the potential impact of the scholarship on your education.

3. Submit the completed application by the specified deadline.

The selection process will be based on academic merit, financial need, extracurricular involvement, and the quality of the application materials submitted.

The scholarship recipients will be announced by the AMU Alumni Affairs Committee Office and will be notified via email/notice.
