After teaching nursing at Hesston College for 44 years, Jean Rodgers is retiring in May. Jean has taught literally hundreds of Hesston nurses over the years, most recently in mental health. Her contributions to curriculum design and program accreditation have been stellar. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Jean for her dedication, expertise, and care for students over many years.

News from the Hesston Nursing Club!

We gathered donations around Hesston to create baskets that we then raffled off. We sold enough tickets and met our goal of $1,000 which we delivered to Hesston Public Schools today. This money will go towards the students of USD 460 for overdue lunch accounts, enrollment fees, etc. We would like to thank our donors for helping us give back to the Hesston Community!

A bit late getting these posted 😬. The juniors learned IV insertion earlier this semester! Brings a whole new aspect to clinicals for them this semester.

The seniors are back at it in the simulation lab - they’ve been busy these past couple of weeks!

Today was a good day for an almost-end-of-semester Christmas celebration with the nursing students. A few pre-nursing students joined our juniors and seniors for lots of good food and an ugly sweater contest. A fun brief escape from studies!
