Former HC student Gene (Najib) Zaid is living in Kansas and developing a groundbreaking cancer treatment using a flower from his home country, the black calla lily. Check out his story here!

Gene Zaid was born in a Palestinian refugee camp. Now, he lives in Hutchinson, Kansas, where he is developing a cancer treatment using a flower from his home country.

Rozario Zogu started his internship in May of 2023 at Agco Hesston, on Plant 2, the fabrication plant. He is a manufacturing engineer and currently working on making brake programs for press brake machines. He also uses CAD to make drawing files as part of his job. Great work Rozario!

We're exploring the world of engineering with some students who visited today as a part of Loving the Real H-Town! The students were challenged to build a tower that was at least 20 inches tall and could support the weight of several pennies while dealing with money and time constraints. They were all able to rise to challenge and had a blast doing it!
