AHIMA Foundation Offers $100K in Scholarships
Nineteenth consecutive year scholarship program provides financial assistance to aspiring and current health information professionals.
AHIMA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AHIMA, has opened its scholarship application with $100,000 available in scholarships for currently enrolled outstanding health information professionals pursuing associate's, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees in health information management (HIM) or health informatics (HI). Through one online application, students can apply for one of three opportunities for financial support including the Merit Scholarship, the Veterans Scholarship, and the Dissertation Support Scholarship.

Review eligibility and requirements and apply online before August 31.

🌎Where in the World is our HutchCC Blue Dragon student?
Northwest Kansas: Real People. Real Stories.
I grew up in a tiny town called Studley and it's max population when I lived there was 50. It is located along highway 24 and just across the road is this beautiful stone home called The Cottonwood Ranch which is a state historical site. A quilt that my grandma helped sew, is hanging on the wall. The sewing club was the GGG quilting club. Which stood for giggle, gossip, and gab. There is a school marker just down the road from this ranch where my grandmother and all her siblings went to school. It was a large family so it's nickname is the Singer Family School house. I have not moved too far away since I now live in Hoxie which is 15 miles up the road on highway 24. Our crossroads in Hoxie is the highway 23 & 24 intersection.🌻
