I spy one of our talented Computer Drafting students! Addison has started her summer internship with ICM, Inc. and we are certain she will succeed during this time!

Recently one of our first year drafting students, Aaron Honeycutt, was able to share a residential project that he developed as part of the Presidential Scholars program at Community College. Aaron developed a house using Autodesk Revit, 3D printed it, and also presented it in virtual reality so that visitors could "walk around" his house. Terrific job Aaron!

Recently the HutchCC Computer Drafting program was invited to tour the Grasshopper Mowers facility in Moundridge, KS. Students were able to see the design and manufacturing process and hear about career opportunities for drafters. Thank you Grasshopper Mowers for taking the time to visit with our students and faculty!

Today we hosted a group of students from Hutchinson High School, and Jenny Ricker Sweet Treats supplied cookies for everyone. They looked amazing and tasted even better!

This week in DR129 Parametric Modeling, students have been learning to create assemblies in Creo, a PTC Technology. They learned to constrain parts properly and create exploded assemblies. CREO PARAMETRIC ASSEMBLE!

In each view, which pipe is in front of the other? These exciting questions and more are being answered today in MA130 Engineering Graphics!
