The deadline to order DNA hair sample envelopes for Kansas state livestock nominations is approaching quickly and is only a few weeks away! Everyone is encouraged to order them early to allow plenty of time for the envelopes to be delivered and complete the nomination process.

All market animals and commercial breeding females must be state nominated to be eligible for the Kansas State Fair Grand Drive and/or KJLS.

If you'll be in MHK for graduation, or other activities, you are more than welcome to order them online and then pick them up in-person from our office.

Calling all ag media enthusiasts! The Kansas State Fair Grand Drive is seeking up to 4 media interns to capture the excitement of the Grand Drive weekend, Sept. 5–7. You'll create social content, snap candid photos, and tell the stories of Kansas’ top youth livestock exhibitors. Perks include meals, lodging, a t-shirt, and a $300 stipend. Apply by May 19!

▪️Incase you missed electrical last month for behind the barns. Here is another camping option. ▪️

Spots are now available in our No Service Camping area for the 2025 Kansas State Fair!

Parking lots A & C offer $10 per night camping sites. Tents are allowed only in these areas. No services will be provided other than trash cans.

Lots will open at 1pm, Wednesday, Sept. 3.
