On Friday morning, a female student reported she was "touched inappropriately" in a stairwell in the Arts and Sciences building at LCC. Here are the details police have given.

On Feb. 10 at approximately 9:15 a.m., a man allegedly approached a female student in the Arts and Sciences building middle stairwell and touched her inappropriately.

Denise LaFave Smith runs a successful law practice in Lansing and makes a difference in many lives around the area. She got her start at LCC. It was a long journey from that point but she wouldn't want it any other way. This is her story.

Many students have started their journeys to success at Lansing Community College. Some have gone on to other cities, states and countries to fulfill their passion and embark on extensive careers.

Ingham County voters will go to the polls Nov. 8, with several choices for the Lansing Community College Board of Trustees available.
