On Friday morning, a female student reported she was "touched inappropriately" in a stairwell in the Arts and Sciences building at LCC. Here are the details police have given.

On Feb. 10 at approximately 9:15 a.m., a man allegedly approached a female student in the Arts and Sciences building middle stairwell and touched her inappropriately.

Denise LaFave Smith runs a successful law practice in Lansing and makes a difference in many lives around the area. She got her start at LCC. It was a long journey from that point but she wouldn't want it any other way. This is her story.

Many students have started their journeys to success at Lansing Community College. Some have gone on to other cities, states and countries to fulfill their passion and embark on extensive careers.

The LCC Volleyball team topped Lake Michigan College last week.

The LCC volleyball team triumphed over the Lake Michigan College Redhawks 25-16, 21-25, 26-24, 25-19 in the Gannon Gym on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

An LCC professor recently published a young adult novel that is garnering several five star reviews on Amazon. Her book, Daddy's Baby, features a unique story line.

Landis Lain has published writings several times in her life. Her latest book, published in July, is one that changes traditional narratives and is garnering five-star reviews on Amazon.com.

Ingham County voters will go to the polls Nov. 8, with several choices for the Lansing Community College Board of Trustees available.

Voters in Ingham County will ultimately fill three six-year board seats from among current trustees Robert Proctor and Alex Azima and hopeful newcomers Ryan Buck and Angela Matthews.

Are you a student at LCC who is looking for a job? The college is looking to fill 51 student jobs. Here is a Lookout article with more information.

It turns out one of the best places with jobs that are plentiful and flexible is the very same school that students attend. LCC has many jobs currently open for student applicants.

The LCC volleyball team lost a couple of games last week and were just 1-6, but the coaches and players were encouraged.

The LCC volleyball team (1-2 MCCAA West, 1-6 overall) continued its trend of inconsistent play, losing 20-25, 25-23, 25-11, 25-18 at home against Muskegon CC Sept. 6.

Employees in health care, fast food and other fields including religious leaders protested at the Michigan State Capitol on Monday, Sept. 12 in favor of a higher minimum wage.
