Join Dean Noguera for an insightful conversation about his journey as an Afro-Latino leader in academia. He will share his experiences navigating education and leadership as an Afro-Latino male. The event will include a moderated discussion and an open Q&A session for students to engage directly.
Dean Pedro A. Noguera is a leading scholar in racial inequality and education reform. He serves as Dean of the USC Rossier School of Education and Distinguished Professor. With previous roles at UCLA, NYU, Harvard, and UC Berkeley, he is a renowned author of 15 books and hundreds of articles. In 2023, he was ranked the #1 most influential figure in education by Education Week. He has received eight honorary doctorates and numerous awards for his work in educational equity.
