Global Leader Association (GLA) brings many Korean student associations from all around the world, allowing effective communication with one another. Furthermore, we aim for the development of capable international students around the world, and also the multifaceted interactions with South Korea. Korean student associations of 60 universities from all over the nations have come together to carry
out charity events, career fairs, youth concerts and most recently, the first “General meeting of the Korean student associations of the global universities” at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. These events have helped us to strengthen our identity and awareness within the Korean society and also among the international students’ society. Every year we have dealt with issues such as the Japanese army’s comfort women, and also raising awareness of the rights of the North Korean people. To address these social issues, we have attended various charity performances, exhibitions and discussions, aiming to enable the Korean international students around the world to gain a better understanding of such social and historical issues. Hence, transforming these students to educated leaders of the world. GLA strives to communicate with more Korean students around the world, building up our identity as one, which will allow us to obtain a stronger voice and influence within the global society as leaders of the world. 저희는 2012 년에 설립된 세계한인학생회연합회(GLA) 의 공식 사무국, 영어로 GLA Secretariats 라는 단체로, 세계속에 있는 한인학생회들을 하나로 모아 소통하고 단합하며 앞서나가 해외 인재들의 재능 개발과 모국인 한국과의 다양한 방면으로의 교류를 추구해왔습니다. 모든 이벤트 주최 및 운영에 앞장서서, 꾸준히 유학생 사회뿐만 아니라 국내에서의 활동 범위와 인지도를 넓혀왔습니다.
저희는 매년 위안부 만행, 북한 인권 실체 알리기 등 여러 사회 이슈에 대한 재조명과 학생들의 권익을 위한 자선공연, 전시회, 취업 박람회 및 여러 간담회 및 세미나에 참석하면서 더 많은 세계속 한인학생들이 한국 문화와 역사를 제대로 인지하며 더 나아가 세계속의 리더로 성장할 수 있게끔 노력하고 있습니다.
세계한인학생회연합회의 중추역할을 하는 사무국으로서 더 많은 세계속 한인학생들과 소통하고 단합할수있는 연결고리를 만들고, 다양한 기회와 더 큰 목소리를 낼 수 있는 세계적인 리더들이 될 수 있도록 더욱 노력하는 GLA 사무국이 되겠습니다.
