USC has named Meghan Anand as the university's student commencement speaker for the Class of 2025. Anand, a USC Marshall senior majoring in business administration and a presidential scholar, will speak at the university's main ceremony on May 15, 2025.

"[I]t’s an incredible honor and I feel grateful because so many people have helped me become the person that I am today” Anand said.

USC Marshall students from the GEMS Program took their first tech tour to San Francisco to visit Salesforce, Zynga, Apple and Meta. During their visit, students presented to Salesforce’s management team on “A Force for Good: Technology for People and the Planet”, laying out how Salesforce can innovate its products, processes, and business strategies to deliver value not only to shareholders but also to society and the planet.

The Guiding Exceptional Minds Success (GEMS) Program is a selective early career development program for students in accounting, finance and business focusing on professional mentorship and leadership training.

USC's undergraduate team tied for fourth place at VCIC (Venture Capital Investment Competition) 2025 Global Finals!

Our exceptional students from USC Marshall, USC Viterbi School of Engineering, and USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences showcased outstanding venture capital analysis over 48 intense hours, competing for the first time in the Global Finals at UNC Chapel Hill after winning first place at the West Regionals.

USC Marshall students gained hands-on venture capital experience at the Venture Capital Investment Competition, where undergraduates competed for the first-time.

After four decades, former student Brad Dow returned to USC Marshall to finish his bachelor’s degree. At this year’s commencement, he will complete his academic journey that began in 1977 and officially become a Trojan alumnus.

This spring, Brad Dow is set to receive his bachelor’s degree from USC Marshall — a milestone four decades in the making.
