AA Music Music ensembles are open for participation to the general student body.

The Associate of Arts with Music Concentration will focus on establishing a solid music foundation in music theory, music literature, applied instrumental lessons and participation in various music ensembles in preparation for the completion of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. It is intended for transferability to higher education institutions by the serious music student wishing to continue his/her study of music while completing the core curriculum course work.

It was a busy day of music-making and all things music: thanks to Utah Tech’s Dr. Ka-wai Yu for an outstanding cello recital, to TAMUI music professors for presenting “Harmony Across Borders,” and for a fabulous Music Therapy presentation by Mary Kate Becnel.
