Who is Your Brother?

He who understands you and yet remains your brother.

He who to himself is true and therefore must be so to you.
He who, when he reaches the top of the ladder, does not forget you if you are at the bottom.
He who is the same today when prosperity smiles upon you, and tomorrow when adversity and sorrows come.
He who guards your interest as his own, neither flatters nor deceives, gives just praise to your good deeds and equally but privately condemns your bad acts.
He whose ambition and responsibility towards the brotherhood exceeded the rewards he expects to receive in it.

ZP brothers Rick Newman, Chad Carpenter, and Kurt Feight at the Blue Moose in Vail, CO. Chad works there and saw the post that we were in Vail and invited us over for a beverage 🍺 and pizza 🍕. Best in town! Thank you brother Carpenter! Hoping to ride the mountain with Chad today.

After 45 years of talking about skiing out West in Colorado, brothers Rick Newman (lower photo) and Kurt Feight finally got to ski Vail, CO with 8” of nice powder 🥰. Kip Feight (Kurt’s cousin) joined in on the fun!

Skiing at Crystal Mountain this weekend with my family and ran into my little brother Zeta Rho ΣΧ William Queen III. He’s still a certified ski instructor at Crystal Mountain and has been teaching there for over 40 years! A legend at Crystal Mountain!

Brothers of the Zeta Rho Chapter of Sigma Chi. I’m honored to have been nominated and selected to receive the 2024 Alumni Seven Lights Award. This award is given to brothers who have at least 10 years of significant service to the fraternity. During my ten years I served as Chapter Advisor and Housing Corporation President. I’m very humble and honored to receive this award. Thank you brothers.
