Congratulations to Delicia Pruitt, M.D., on being named the 2025 Convener of the American Academy of Family Physicians’ National Conference of Constituency Leaders! Along with her many roles and responsibilities, she also serves as an associate professor at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine. We’re proud to have her on our team.

We're sending a congratulations to our very own Dr. Delicia Pruitt, who was named 2025 Convener of the American Academy of Family Physicians' (AAFP) National Conference of Constituency Leaders.

Dr. Pruitt, medical director for the Saginaw County Health Department and a family medicine physician at CMU Health, was selected by her peers from across the country to serve in this prestigious leadership role. As Convener, she led the NCCL Advisory Group, helping to guide the work of five constituency groups representing women, Blacks, Indigenous populations, and people of color, new physicians, international medical graduates, and LGBTQ+ physicians and allies, and serving as an ambassador for AAFP’s commitment to leadership development and member representation.

Dr. Pruitt, we appreciate your hard work and dedication to the field of medicine and thank you for representing Michigan on a national stage.
