Today Chief Larry Klaus wrapped up a 40+ year career in law enforcement and retired from Central Michigan University. Chief Klaus has left a great legacy at CMU and has made a tremendous impact on campus safety. We will all miss your leadership and wish you a wonderful retirement.

Parking Services would like to remind everyone that BICYCLES must be registered, and a permit is required. Please take your bicycles home if you will not be using them on campus during the summer. Bicycles that are illegally parked, unregistered, or inoperable will be impounded May 12th by the CMU Police Department. After 30 days of impound, bikes will be forwarded to the CMU Surplus Store and sold. CMU ordinances 12.02, 12.06, and 12.21.

Parking enforcement for March 8th-16th during Spring Break will continue in all faculty/staff, mobile pay/metered, reserved, service drives, handicapped spaces, fire lanes and on the grass. All vehicles must be in a valid space at all times.

No permit will be required to park in the Commuter (C) lots or residential lots (39,40,42,43,44,45,46,47,52,53,55S,63,70,75 & the south end of Lot 22) and Graduate Apartments.
