Featured in People, Starr's journey is a testament to perseverance, overcoming a challenging diagnosis in her early 20s to earning a Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling. Her dedication to helping survivors who lack adequate support is nothing short of remarkable.

The Carnegie Classification measures two things:
