The women's club volleyball team at Central Michigan University is a self-funded registered student organization in Mount Pleasant, Michigan relying on student leadership to organize and operate season-long practice and play for CMU students. They are a recognized member of the NCVF and a nationally ranked D1 team. Team tryouts are typically held at the SAC in mid-September each year and are open

to any female CMU student. Tryouts include three days of drills and play with cuts at the end of each day. Players are split into an A team and B team in order to create play time for all members. Player can move between teams as dictated by the Eboard throughout the semester as players improve. In addition to practicing, both teams compete in weekend competitions in the region through the end of March. During the first week of April, we send one team to the NCVF Nationals! Places where nationals have been held before have been Houston, Kansas City, Dallas, and Reno. Here the team has the opportunity to compete against teams from all over the nation as well as improve their ranking for the next season. The 2014 Nationals team ended up being ranked #19 in the nation in D1 club volleyball, being one of 2 Michigan teams to be in the top 20! Thanks for liking our page and following our yearly journey to Nationals!
