Zakia Reaves-Johnson, AS03, CEHD05M, is a member of the UDAA Board of Directors and has previously volunteered as president of the UD Black Alumni Organization (UDBAO) and participated in UD’s annual Homecoming festivities, Alumni Weekends, giving days and Admissions alumni networking events. She not only shares her time and talents but also financial support for the University by being a True Blue Hen!

Thanks to our Reunion Ambassadors for the Class of 2020, who are preparing to celebrate their 5th reunion during Alumni Weekend in June! This class holds a special place in UD history, as their senior year (including graduation!) was greatly impacted by the pandemic. The University of Delaware has received the largest philanthropic contribution from an individual or family in the University’s 282-year history.

The $71.5 million commitment from Robert L. Siegfried, Jr. and Kathleen Marie (Horgan) Siegfried, along with The Siegfried Group, LLP, will benefit the University of Delaware Lerner College of Business & Economics. Rob and Kathy are both UD alumni and have been philanthropists to the University for decades.
