Advice for current/future GMC: Living in the moment is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. Don’t overworry about the past or future because you can’t change those. Focus on the now and make that your why. Today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

Favorite ROTC memory: My favorite ROTC memory was eating a sandwich in AS100 class and trying not to make noise while everyone else was trying not to laugh at my failed attempt.

Advice for current/future GMC: Don’t compare yourself to other cadets, especially those who have been in the program longer. Yes you can use a mentor as motivation, but the main goal is to overcome the person you were the previous day. Everyone starts somewhere, it is ok to be inept, it is not ok to stay that way.

Favorite ROTC Memory: My favorite ROTC memory is going on a Capstone after Field Training at Beale AFB near Sacramento, California. I saw U2s and was able to shadow officers learning more about potential AFSCs!

Advice for Current/Future GMC: Have a positive outlook! Some days will be hard, other days you will be tired, and your wingmen might annoy you, but all you can do is control your attitude. Always show up to ROTC with a smile, and you will stand out!

Last weekend, a group of cadets from Air Force ROTC participated in the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFB), putting in countless hours of hard work and dedication. Two scored the silver medal and one scored the gold medal. This was an amazing, exciting opportunity, and we can’t wait to be able to do things like this in the future!!

Favorite ROTC Memory: Hosted all the POC at my home for a night of laughter, good food, and quality time together. We cooked, ate, and unwound as a group, strengthening our bonds beyond just training. The gathering wasn’t just about enjoying a meal, but about building camaraderie, fostering teamwork, and creating lasting memories in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Advice for Current/Future GMC: Never be afraid to think outside the box and push the envelope. The greatest innovators in history refused to accept the status quo because they knew there was always a better way to accomplish the mission. Their willingness to challenge conventional thinking and pursue new solutions is what drove progress. As the world’s greatest Air Force, we achieve excellence through continuous innovation, adaptability, and the relentless pursuit of improvement. Aim High, Fly-Fight-Win!
