She will be obtaining her master’s on a full ride at Christian Brothers University. Within her first year of teaching, she will be working alongside a mentor teacher through Memphis Teaching Residency. We are immensely proud of what you have accomplished and wish you endless success in all your future endeavors Ms. Goodman! 💚💙

Congratulations to our member, Class Valedictorian Abigail Bingham, for graduating with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education! This summer she will be serving as summer camp coordinator at First Baptist CDC. Then, in August she will be teaching second grade at Edisto Primary School. In the near future, she plans on pursuing a Master’s of Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. We are immensely proud of what you have accomplished and wish you endless success in all your future endeavors Ms. Bingham! 💚💙

This past Tuesday, W.H.I.S.P.E.R. and Call Me MiSTER of Claflin University was invited to participate in the College and Career Fair at The Transformation Academy here in Orangeburg, South Carolina. We were glad to work with our MiSTERs in sharing and recruiting for the School of Education at Claflin University.

To close out W.H.I.S.P.E.R. Week, the Women of W.H.I.S.P.E.R. visited Carver Edisto Middle School in honor of Earth Day. We were able to assist the Garden Club in planting seeds for the summer. We are so honored to have helped and been a part of their future success!💚🌱

Derrion Campbell is a junior majoring in elementary education from Florence, SC.

His platform is “Educate, Empower, and Trust” as this exudes his passions and represents his values. As Mister Claflin, he would dedicate myself to cultivating a culture of ongoing learning and intellectual development among my fellow Panthers. He aims to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive academically and professionally. Moreover, He is committed to providing resources, support, and opportunities to foster leadership, self-assurance, and a sense of empowerment. Finally, he will promote an atmosphere of trust, collaboration, and accountability by consistently demonstrating my commitment and staying true to the core principles of my platform.

Genesis Morris is a junior double majoring in Criminal Justice and English hailing from the gorgeous city of Florence, South Carolina.

Her platform is , “ The H. E. A. R. T. of A Panther” serves as a vessel of empowerment to our campus community. Standing on the pillars of Higher Education Advocacy, Embracing Culture, Amplifying Student Voices, Resilience, Wellness and Transformative Community Service. It is her goal to bridge educational resource gaps among the study body, enhance student experiences, and equip students with the necessary tools they need to be successful, starting with the HEART.
