Wayne Carpenter Represents Auto Diesel Institute at Harbor Beach Truck Show! 🚛✨

This past weekend (June 14), Auto Diesel Institute instructor Wayne Carpenter proudly participated in the 2025 Harbor Beach Truck Show and the always-popular Harbor Beach Lighted Truck Parade!

Wayne had a blast connecting with truck enthusiasts, students, and families who came out to enjoy the event. If you’ve ever met Wayne, you know he lives for opportunities like this—sharing his passion for diesel technology and meeting the incredible people who support the industry.

Auto Diesel Institute Instructors Attend NACAT 2025!

Last week, instructors from the Auto Diesel Institute proudly represented our program at the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT) Conference—an incredible gathering of educators and industry professionals dedicated to advancing automotive and diesel technology training.

This annual event offered our team a valuable opportunity to:

📚 Explore new tools, technologies, and teaching strategies
🚗 Stay ahead of industry trends to better prepare our students for successful careers

Celebrates Success at

The Auto/Diesel Institute of Michigan (ADI), a division of Baker College, is celebrating a successful debut at the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference in Grand Rapids. In its first year, ADI sent six students to the regional competition, with four advancing to the state finals and two earning podium finishes.

Allie Breese won 2nd place in Diesel Equipment Service Technology.

Aiden Briggs took 2nd in Automotive Service Technology.

Victoria Pratt placed 1st in Automotive Service Technology and will represent Michigan at the SkillsUSA National Competition in Atlanta.

This success highlights the outstanding training and dedication of ADI students and instructors. Congratulations to all the competitors!
