Recently, the College of Agriculture at Auburn University Auburn University Bees hosted ESCC for a one-on-one workshop where our team worked with bees and hives while learning the Liebefield method of determined brood percentages on frames and grafting larvae for queen rearing. The team also had a blast extracting, filtering, and bottling honey!

Did you know we offer classes at ESCC that give students hands-on experience in a lab setting and working with bees? It's a great start for students interested in working in the agriculture field! If you have questions, email [email protected]!

We are excited to hold our second NC3 National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day event! Congratulations to these students who will be joining our Mechatronics program and preparing for great future careers!

Mechatronics student Solon Rodgers recently programmed and operated our new Wind Turbine trainer as part of the final project for his Advanced PLC course. The PLC course sequence at ESCC prepares students for six-figure jobs as PLC programmers in the manufacturing industry sector. Last week, we had a full house in the Mechatronics lab with Pike County dual enrollment students, our traditional college courses, and our M1 employee hydraulics training. Combining all of these into one space makes for a concentrated amount of productive learning! This week, our program was #1 in the world in issuing NC3 Festo certifications! These certifications are industry-recognized and prepare our students for their future careers!
